Beauty Sleep is a private vintage-themed residence. Formerly a large house
split up into 4 separate apartments. Now an integrated experience for fancy
people who like and deserve the best of both worlds. Privacy and community,
vintage elegance and lowbrow living.
This isn’t a hotel, it isn’t a B&B (unless you mean Bed and Beer that is!). Its my
home and I want you to come stay with me and we’ll hang out and sip wine
while trying on vintage shoes and wigs or reading 1950’s Family Circle
magazines. But… the good thing is that, unlike roommate situations, you don’t
have to share a kitchen, or a bathroom or....ummm… you don’t have to share
anything if you don’t wanna. This house is split up into 4 separate apartments
– and you can have one of them all to your special self.
We're nestled in the very heart of one of Portland Oregon's most vibrant and hip
neighborhoods. Every little thing your precious heart desires to do is within
walking distance. We can even come pick you up at the airport in our big
Cadillac. Would you like that?
We've decorated to give you the experience of an idealized 70's childhood. Like
stepping into a girly playhouse - except with grownup toys and a bar!

- You are a shiny, sparkle pony who likes to glue things to other things;
paint things pink and gold; dress up like our grandmothers when they
were 25; fill up glass dishes with Japanese milk candies; wrap things
up in curly ribbons; listen to happy music and hula-hoop; teach yourself
rock star disco moves; kiss neighborhood kitties on the foreheads;
wear long fake ponytails to the mall; plant fake flowers outside; try on
ridiculously hideous outfits at thrift stores; beat boys at air hockey; play
with graph paper; sing really loud in the car at stoplights...
