| Things You Should Know |
So you've read this far and now here's some things you should know...
Beauty Sleep is an on-going project. We're constantly striving to make updates to
the space and keep things nice and sparkly and shiny. From the outside, the
place is really pretty non-descript - not like fancy-shmancy Bed and Breakfasts or
hotels. We're not so highbrow - we really want you to feel at home like you would
if you were staying with a friend. And we wanna be your friend! Again, this isn’t a
hotel, it isn’t a B&B. Its our home and we want you to come stay with us and we’ll
hang out and share thoughts, ideas and feelings!
The right kind of person will feel MORE comfortable here than staying at some
fancy hotel or B&B... and the wrong person may feel better somewhere a bit more
formal. This is a private residence and I want you to feel like you can kick your
shoes off, drink a beer and swear while you sew!
So if you've got tattoos or you like to disco dance at night, sing Prince songs real
loud, etc. you'll be right at home. And if you don't... well.... maybe you'd be more
comfortable somewhere fancier and more expensive. You never know though,
you just might like it better here either way!
Also, really not suitable for children... especially not small children. I say that
mostly because there are things well within reach of small curious hands and
eyes. There are bar-carts in the rooms (stocked or un-stocked upon request),
and on the weekends guests are encouraged to play music and watch movies
and sing.
Pets considered on a case-by case basis. So, like, if you have a Great Dane or 7
cats... prolly not. If you have a cute little kitty or a hamster, no problem-o.
Smoking is OK outside if you promise to be good and use the ashtrays.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, but we're pretty agreeable most
of the time. We're totally gay friendly too.
From time to time, we may also be hosting various events on our main level that
you may or may not want to schedule your stay around. You can check our
calendar (coming soon!) to see what's happening. Things like art showings,
movie nights, lectures, parties, craft nights, sales, etc.
