We're located in the very heart of the Sunnyside neighborhood in Fabulous
Portland, Oregon. You'll also hear it referred to most commonly as
Belmont/Hawthorne district. That link to the neighborhood association has alot
of great pictures and you'll get a feel for how vibrant and friendly this district is.
You'll love it here. Art and creative expression are everywhere.
Not only can you walk to just about any kind of restaurant you desire, there are
bookstores, salons, vintage clothing and furniture stores, drum shops, parks,
schools, markets, video stores, pubs, movie theaters, arcades, dinner theater,
tea bars, chiropractors, vegetarian and vegan markets, music venues, Fred
Meyers, Walgreen's, a library, churches, toy stores, tattoo parlors, barbershops,
coffee coffee and more coffee shops, breakfast served all day restaurants,
pizza and beer movies, pizza by the slice, wine shops, eclectic shopping, ....
OMG!!! I could go on and on... and this is all just within mere blocks... BLOCKS

This district has a well-known reputation for its laid-back attitude. A mecca for
arts, music, shopping, and food!
Right on the busline, you don't even need a car. Plus, we can provide you with
a ride in our van if you ask nice and tip well.
And... Beauty Sleep is located directly on the bike path along a tree-lined street.
Which means that all the cars on the side-streets have to stop for the bicycles.
A never-ending parade of smiling people and children on their bikes.
Oh, and Laurelhurst park is nearby also... weeping willow trees, flowers, a
duck pond... Picturesque to say the least. In the summertime you can even go
to Laurelhurst and join the hoop-jam... tons of people hula hooping and
teaching eachother neat tricks!
